How Does Valorant Detect Cheats, and What Can Players Do to Protect Their Accounts?
Closed thread Closed by archiveI've been wondering how Valorant handles suspicious players. Sometimes someone hits every shot and the whole lobby starts calling cheats, but then you check the scoreboard and they have 300 hours played.
How do you actually distinguish a very good player from someone using external assistance? Also, are there any warning signs that your own account or PC might be at risk?

exactly lol. I got accused of cheating once after a lucky wallbang. Haven't repeated it since.
The important thing is that suspicious gameplay alone doesn't establish what software someone is using. Reports and the game's enforcement process are there for a reason.
What about those videos where people show an overlay on another monitor? Does that automatically mean Vanguard can see it?
You can't safely assume every overlay has the same visibility or detection characteristics. The details depend on the software and how it operates.
Also don't download random files from people promising an undetectable setup. Losing your account is one thing, losing your login details is worse.
The free cheat download that asks you to disable every security feature is a hard pass from me.
