Why Do Players Want Custom Cosmetics in Competitive Games?
Closed thread Closed by archiveWhat's the appeal of custom cosmetics for everyone?
For me, skins are mostly about the look and sound of a weapon. Other players seem to care a lot about finishers and animations, while some want every weapon to match.
Where do you stand on cosmetics, especially when unofficial tools enter the picture?

I buy skins based on the sound. Then I complain that I have no money. Very logical.
Official cosmetics are straightforward. Unofficial tools can be a different story if they modify the game or conflict with its rules.
I mostly care that my weapon doesn't look like it came out of a toy box.
You picked the wrong game, mate.
Whatever you prefer visually, cosmetic changes shouldn't give anyone a gameplay advantage or compromise their account security.
