Valorant Vanguard Errors After a Windows Update
Closed thread Closed by archiveValorant was launching normally, then Windows updated and now the game refuses to start. I haven't changed anything intentionally.
I don't want to start randomly deleting files or messing with system settings. What's the sensible order to troubleshoot this?

Restart the PC first. Boring answer, but sometimes it works.
Check whether the update actually finished and whether another restart is pending.
Then check the official Riot support article for that specific error. Reinstalling everything should not be the first move.
Can confirm that reinstalling a huge game because of one error message is a special kind of pain.
If the error mentions a system service or driver, follow Riot's official instructions rather than downloading random repair tools.
